Visiting former King Gyanendra meets Bhutani King in Thimphu
Kathmandu, October 5: Former King Gyanendra, who is visiting Bhutan, met Bhutani King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck in Thimphu on Friday.
King Gyanendra, who is in Thimphu along with daughter Prerana and nice Sitasma, met with Bhutani King Wangchuck, Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk and other members of the Royal family on Friday.
King Gyanendra also met with the former King of Bhutan Jigme Singe Wangchuk, father of the present King of Bhutan.
King Gyanendra and Bhutan’s former King Wangchuk were classmates when both were studying at the St Joseph College in Darjeeling, reports Desh Sanchar online portal.
Upon King Gyanendra’s arrival at the Thimphu International Airport, the Princes of Bhutan received him. King Gyanendra is on a visit to Bhutan at the invitation of the Bhutani King. King Gyanendra is returning home on Sunday, October 6.
