Kathmandu, November 8: One foreign tourist missing in the Lirung area of Langtang is found dead.

According to Keshab Bhattarai, the head of the district police office, the 34-year-old Slovakian Andrzej Husurka, with passport number BC 8915028 went missing two weeks ago during a trek in the Himalayas, was found dead.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhattarai, the rescue team of Senior Captain Vivek Khadka found the body of the tourist at a depth of about 30 meters in the Lirung Himal area at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level.

The body of the tourist has been kept at the Trivedi Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for examination.
