Former King believes Butan’s hospitality to him an honor to Nepal and Nepali people
Kathmandu, October 13: Former King Gyanendra Shah has said that he considers Bhutan’s hospitality to him as an honor to Nepal and Nepalis. While offering the Vijaya Dashami Tika to the general public at Nirmal Niwas on Saturday, October 12, the former King said he paid a private visit to Bjutan recently.
He said, “Everyone in Nepal is interested in my visit to Bhutan”. The former King said that he considers the welcome, respect and hospitality performed on him by the Royal Family of Bhutan and the people there as an honor to Nepal and the Nepali people. He also expressed his gratitude to the Bhutanese Royal Family and the people for the warm welcome accorded to Nepal, reports Desh Sanchar Online Portal.
