Kathmandu, November 18: As the government announced a public holiday suddenly and lately, government officials who reached the office at 10 am, have been confused.

On the sad demise of ex-Speaker Damannath Dhungana, the government announced a public holiday today but due to the delayed announcement, all the schools have remained open.

Staffers of the banks and other private and public institutions also reached their concerned offices and returned after attending their offices.

The government is performing state honor on the late Dhungana’s last rites today.
