No shortage of cetamol: Nepal Drugs
Kathmandu, October 26: Nepal Drugs Limited, a government undertaking producing medicines, has said that rumor about the shortage of Cetamol in the market is not true.
Managing Director Kailashkumar Paneru said that there is no shortage of cetamol and its regular production is on.
He said, “We are regularly producing the medicine as per the market demand.” The Nepal Drugs is working in two shifts daily. Along with cetamol, other medicines including Jeevanjal are also being produced. According to him, three hundred thousand tablets of cetamol are being produced every day.
We have issued a notice after the rumor that cetamol was shortage in the market after the incline of the dengue cases.
After complaints from various sources about the shortage of cetamol, the medicine-producing government undertaking issued a notice on Thursday clarifying that there is no shortage of cetamol.
