Kathmandu, October 29: Nepal Airlines successfully conducted a test flight at the Tikapur Airport in Kailali District, on Monday, October 28.

The test flight took off from Nepalgunj at 12: 45 pm local time and landed at Tikapur Airport at 13: 15. The test flight involved a joint team of technicians from the Nepal Airlines Corporation and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Arun Kumar Chaudhary, Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Resham Chaudhary, leader of the Nagarik Unmukti Party were also present on the occasion. Executive Chairman of the corporation, Ubaraj Adhikari, has given special instructions to operate regular flights in the Nepalgunj-Tikapur-Nepalgunj sector as soon as possible with the availability of aircraft with the corporation.
