Kathmandu, October 15: Nepal has strongly protested recent attacks on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers. It has asked all parties involved in the conflict to ensure the safety and security of UN personnel deployed in Lebanon.

The Foreign Ministry of Nepal, in its social media platform “X”, has stated Nepal’s firm stance, calling for an immediate halt to such actions and a thorough investigation into the incidents.

“Nepal strongly condemns recent attacks on the UNIFIL peacekeepers and urges parties of the conflict to guarantee their safety and security”, the Foreign Ministry has stated.

“Such actions must stop immediately and should be adequately investigated,” the Ministry has urged.
