Kathmandu, November 8: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has approved Nripadhoj Niraula and Nityananda Pandey to the post of judges of the Supreme Court. After the Parliamentary Hearing Committee approved their name, they are going to be appointed as the judges of the SC.

The Committee meeting chaired by senior member Pashupati Shumsher Rana approved the names of two judges without objection.

Niraula and Pandey had presented their working plans to the Committee.

The Council of Justice meeting held recently had recommended Patan High Court’s chief justice Niraula and Tulsipur High Court’s chief justice Pandey’s names.
