Kathmandu, October 26: Rajendra Mahato, who was the leader of the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party led by Mahanta Thakur, has applied for the registration of a new party chaired by him.

Mahato has applied to the Election Commission for party registration. On Friday, he applied to the Election Commission for the registration of the National Liberation Party, Nepal. The Party chaired by him will have a 173-member central committee.
