Political parties take initiative to amend constitution: Speaker Ghimire
Kathmandu, September 23: Speaker of House, Devraj Ghimire, has said that the initiative of discussion among the political parties on the constitutional amendment has already started.
Speaking to the media at the Biratnagar Airport today, he said that there is a need for greater understanding among the political parties on how to amend the constitution, what is the process, on what subject and when to make the amendment.
He also said that there is a lack of laws for the implementation of federalism. Speaker Ghimire opined that if the Civil Service Act, Police Organization Operation Act, and Education Act can be enacted, the problems seen in the implementation of the Constitution will be resolved.
