Kathmandu, November 1: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) lifted the ban on Thai AirAsia flights after the airline apologized for its mistake.
The Airlines had operated the Bangkok-Kathmandu flight without permission from CAAN after the expiration of the route permission on October 27.
The Airline had failed to renew its route permit and without permission, had approached Kathmandu with passengers on November 27. The aircraft was asked to return immediately after it entered the Nepali sky by CAAN.
