Kathmandu, October 24: An agreement was signed between the Nepal government and the World Bank during a meeting between Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel and World Bank Vice President for South Asia Martin Rager in Washington on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Ramprasad Ghimire, and the World Bank Representative to Nepal, David Sisselen. According to the agreement, the World Bank will provide $150 million. The resources will be mobilized to address the health complications arising due to natural and climate change in Nepal.
