Kathmandu, October 17: The Vijaya Dashami festival, the greatest and longest festival for the Nepalis, has concluded today. Due to the reduction of lunar time, the festival ended this morning. The Nepali priests have thus suggested observing the concluding ceremony this morning and observing the Kojagrat Purnima on Wednesday, October 16.

The Calendar Declaring Development Committee has stated that the Chaturdashi tithi was shortened and Purnima was started by Wednesday, it was suggested to observe Kojagrat Purnima on Wednesday. From Kojagrat Purnima, the Mahalaxmi Pakchya starts. It means preparation for the Tihar festival starts.
