Kathmandu, October 30: An immigration office has been set up at Korla Trade Pass in Lomanthang, Upper Mustang, bordering China. According to the District Administration Office, Mustang, the immigration office is set to be formally inaugurated in a few days.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Ramprasad Subedi, all preparations for the opening of the office have been completed. He said that after the operation of this office, both imports and exports of essential goods will be facilitated. It is expected that the imports and exports of sheep and goats in particular will be easier, as well as ease of movement and trade business at the checkpoint.
