Kathmandu, October 30: The Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen Shah, has said that one should visit the Singhadurwar Baidhyakhana to see the collapse of a nation.
Speaking at a function organized to mark the Dhanvantari Jayanti and National Health Day, Shah pointed out that the government undertaking to produce medicines itself is sick today. The organ is constantly running into losses and is unable to pay salaries to staffers.
He said, “Visit the Baidhyakhana to see how the country is sinking.”
“How does an organization that makes and sells drugs reaches to the stage where it can’t pay employees?,” Shah questioned.
