Kathmandu, October 26: Around 9,000 tourists visited the Sagarmatha area (Mt Everest area). According to the office of Sagarmatha National Park, Solukhumbu, 8,900 tourists visited Khumbu last month.

The Park collected revenue of Rs 2.34 crore, reports state. The Park charges an entry fee of Rs 100 per Nepali tourist, Rs 1,500 for tourists from SAARC countries and Rs 3,000 for tourists from other countries.
