Maoist Center to demonstrate strength in Kathmandu today
Kathmandu, October 26: The Maoist Center is organizing a public assembly with the plan of demonstrating its strength today.
The party has decided to hold a “warning assembly” protesting against the government’s wrong and irresponsible acts.
The public assembly is being organized at Exhibition Road, the hub of Kathmandu city.
The organizers have claimed that a minimum of 20 thousand party workers will participate in the assembly.
Since the Maoists were ousted from the government, it has become a strong critic of the KP Sharma Oli-led government.
The assembly is being organized by the Valley Special Coordination Committee of the Maoist Center.
The party is going to denounce the inefficacy of the government in planning disaster management, search for the missing people, relief distribution, treatment of the injured, construction of temporary settlements, and reconstruction and rehabilitation for the victims of recent floods and landslides across the country.
