Global IME Bank, University of Innsbruck of Austria sign MoU on cooperation

Kathmandu, October 21: The Global IME Bank and the University of Innsbruck in Austria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the promotion of energy-efficient techniques and practices for sustainable housing construction under the Building Energy Efficiency in Nepal (BEEN) project funded by the European Union under the SWITCH Asia Grant Programme.

The MoU was signed by Asim Karmacharya, Head of Green and Sustainable Banking of the Bank and Dr. Daniel Nair.

Global IME Bank has implemented theGreen Home Loanspecial loan scheme to promote sustainable housing. According to the bank, the MoU will help enhance technological capabilities and promote sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.

Keeping in mind the convenience of its customers, the bank has been luring customers by bringing various time-related schemes.
